Single/dual loop question?

Thread Starter
Ok so im getting confused here with my setup.

Right now i have the
Monsoon Reservoir dual bay
2 loops(1 for cpu and gpu)
2 rads(not connected other then rez bay)
1 MCP655 pump

with this setup is that considered a single loop or dual?
i say its a dual loop since both rads are not connect

Plz dont flame on how it looks since its my 1st build.

That looks rather confusing, but the cpu looks like it's plumbed with the gpu or is it not?

Err I think you have too many inlets/outlets on the res being used. should be just one in and one out to complete the loop, block the other two unused ones off and connect all other components in series.

Confused? How could you have 2 loops with 1 pump?

I agree. It looks like a hybrid single loop, mixing both loops together at the res.

i know it looks a bit odd
but the res has
2 inlets
2 outlets
so what i did is took 1 inlet/outlet for cpu and the same for the gpu
and for the both cpu and gpu and gave it 1 rad so they are not connected
so is that considered a hybrid single loop like ezeedub said or a dual loop

i just want to make sure so when people ask what my setup is like i can be correct.

that is not 2 loops
2 loops consist of 2 pumps 2 reses etc.
Not one
if you are using a y connector that is not advised.
res-pump-rad-cpu-gpu-res is how it should go for example.
Loop order really doesn't matter though
