Really hard to predict things like that. The CPU should last you ~2-3 years, but the GPU might not last you that long. The rest of things (Case, PSU, RAM, etc.) are fine. Things like the monitor don't really get "oudated" per se, but rather are upgraded due to personal preference and desire.

Edit: when I say "last you that long" I mean the time-elapsed before it'll really be worth upgrading again.

So would it be better to get a higher end graphics card and just get SLI/Crossfire in the future when I need to "upgrade"? Or is the motherboard going to be out of date by then anyway
