Fan speed not making a difference?

Having a bit of a strange situation, I set my clocks and vcore to default and did a quick timed prime95 test to see max temps.

I did 1 test with fans set to max followed by 1 with fans on minimum (via fan controller), both times max temps were 50C. Any reason for this? I'm running 2 70cfm front intake with one directly in line with the heatsink, and a top ~50cfm intake again blowing in the area where the heatsink push would pull air from.

Heatsink, A70, is outfitted with 2 kaze 3000 ~130cfm each in push/pull. I really expected to see a difference especially with the Kaze's since at minimum there really doesn't seem to be much airflow vs the large amount with max rpms.

Both of my Kaze's are push/pull directly on the heatsink with the A70 mounting which covers up the sides a bit and directly airflow straight.

well if your case fan speeds don't change to bring in more air, then its not much use

I think there's some confusion as to my setup.

A70 heatsink has directly mounted push/pull Kazes.

2 Front intake fans, each are 70cfm. The top one is in line with the heatsink and I have a pvc shroud so the air goes directly to the heatsink push/pull setup.

1 Top intake, 50cfm, located such that it hits the area where the upper front intake meets the heatsink push/pull. So basically 2 fans providing air directly to the heatsink fans, and 1 pushing air along the video card/bottom of case.

All the fans are controlled by the fan controller, and the two tests were done with every fan on minimum and every fan on maximum.

EDIT: Ambient now is 28C. I'm in no way concerned with my temps, what I don't understand is why going from say 2x30cfm going through the heatsink to 2x130cfm is making no difference. Also for the record I waited to temps to reset to 30C before each test.

perhaps maybe that 2 fans bringing direct air to your heatsink is sufficient enough even on low to get that cool air inside the heatsink along with your heatsink fan to not heat up the pipes as much, therefore fan speed don't make a difference?

That'd be somewhat bittersweet. Was kind of hoping pumping 45dBa through the heatsink would drop temps

Perhaps the heatsink got bumped a bit too much while resetting my fans today, as I just today received the Kazes. I haven't been able to find any i5 2500 + A70 reviews to compare temps, however my delta with ambient is better than the testing setups I've seen.

I know idle really means nothing, but I'm running 1-2C above the ambient in the case, is that enough to assume the TIM is still in good shape, or is inconclusive for idle?
