G500 Help

Thread Starter
I have a g500 i bought about a year ago. I used it on a cloth mouse pad for a while until I changed to a wooden table. Now I tried to go back to my mouse pad but it didn't work. I searched google and found that laser mice don't work well with cloth pads so I went out and bought a mouse pad like my brothers that works with his g9. Anyone know what happened?

Blow the sensor out with compressed air, it probably has a piece of wood shaving blocking it.

That didn't do much. I works on the wood but it skips around a lot. The only place it seems to be working is on the cover of a history book I had laying around.
