Just ordered a Lenovo Y470

As the title says, I just ordered a Lenovo Y470 14" laptop, I really wanted good build quality in my laptop so I ended up going with Lenovo instead of the Acer TimelineX which I was going to get.

http://shop.lenovo.com/us/notebooks/ideapad/y-series/y470

Laptop Specs:
2nd generation Intel® Core™ i5-2410M Processor ( 2.30GHz 1333MHz 3MB )

NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M 1GB (NVIDIA Optimus)
- Dual graphics with Intel Integrated to save power when not in use.

4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz

14.0" HD Anti-Glare Screen with integrated camera 1366x768

500GB 7200 RPM HDD

Intel 1000 B/G/N Wireless

Bluetooth 2.1+ Support

HDMI Out

2 USB 3.0 Ports

JBL Speakers and SRS Surround Sound

Accutype Keyboard(This was a big thing to me, I'm planning to use this for taking notes and coding)

So basically I got the weekly deal, and in addition I added a 10% off code to it that I got for signing up for their email newsletter. My total came to $676.

I think I got a good deal on this, tell me your thoughts!

When I get it i plan on uploading pictures of it, and doing a review of it for you guys in case you're interested. It could be a while though hahaha because the estimated ship date is 8/30/11 eek.gif

Anyone else have this laptop?

yes, that is a good deal. I paid $700 for this a few years ago. i am typing on it now, but with jealous fingers.

Technology moves too fast. It saddens to spend money at all when I think about next years tech.

Gaming wise probably not as well but when you feel like it's not keeping up with windows you could give Linux a try.

Very nice find though. I'm jealous.
