G35 Upgrade

Thread Starter
Hi,

I'm reviewing all my peripherals after building a new pc and trying to decide whether it's worth upgrading over my existing equipment.
Atm I'm looking at the sound system.

My new system doesn't have a soundcard as I use the G35 with it's USB connectivity.
I'm mainly a heavy gamer so wonder if it would be worth changing the G35 for maybe an HD 598 with a seperate mic for voice comms or am I better sticking with my existing G35?

Cheers in advance.

The 598's are great headphones for gaming. Detail and soundstage are fabulous. They are not bass heavy.
It would be a nice upgrade.

Ah great thanks, they do look fantastic. Might need to opt for a discrete soundcard though over the Maximus IV onboard.
Any ideas on a good mic to pair with it?
