Need some help finding gear

Thread Starter
Greetings, so i'm looking to get 3 things specifically, a quality pair of headphones, a stand alone microphone, and some good speakers.

I will primarily be using the headphones/speakers for music, about a 60% music to 40% gaming rate. The genres i mainly listen to are dubstep, D&B, trance, hip-hop and pop, although i generally listen to every genre lol. The microphone is for skype. I would like a relatively high quality microphone, it CAN be clip-on but i'd prefer it on a boom or a stand of some kind.

As for the speakers. I live with a roomate so these may not get too much use, but when he's gone, i love to crank it up to 11 and shake the whole house.

Budget is around 600 dollars for all 3, if anymore information is needed let me know

You can add a sub:

+1 and if u are in the USA Craiglist ftw! Hit a nice used AVR/Stereo amp - lots of options/models that can even offer 5.1/7.1 if this matters to you later

as for headphones get the Ultrasone 550Pro ~150$
And for speakers , we need to know what system you want (2.0 , 2.1 , 5.1 , 7.1)

Any way the stereo speakers are always recommended so maybe the Audio Engine A5 those ar amazing 2.0 speakers , but if you need more BASS you might need to look for 2.1 set
