Only downside to a pair of 6870s is that it doesn't leave you much of an upgrade path, since if you want to upgrade your graphics later on you pretty much have to start from scratch. I chose an HD6950, so later on I can Crossfire it.

I plan to add a crossfire to my 6950 soon as well. I think I will when I get BD. So mid october early november

ah but it does

he could sell one 6870 and get a 6870x2 for a nice 3 way
