Looking for a new laptop

Thread Starter
I have an old laptop with a core 2 duo and a 8600m GS, but it is dreadfully slow, but I'd like to get something both more portable, and significantly faster.
Now, ideally I want a powerhouse of laptop, or as good of a laptop as I can get, preferably for under a grand. I need something fairly small, and fairly light. I've been eyeing the m11x, however, it is quite expensive. Anyone know of anything similar in the 11-13 inch form factor that will be both powerful and easy to carry around from place to place? Money isn't too much of an issue, but I'll need something that can both do moderate gaming and lots of multitasking.
Thanks!

You could check out the thread here on the new Acer Timelines

they are quite powerful and lightweight and also have dedi graphics for under 1k.

There are also some line-ups with the ultra efficient sb cpus like this article suggests. The Asus UX21 might come out less than $1k. The ultra-power efficient intels won't be as powerhouse as the full blown cpu but avoids hit issues better I think. Same as cpus in new mb air I believe.

First , You should go for Core i7- 2630QM !
Second , Serious Gaming Requires From 525M then 540M .. 555M , But if you wants a great performance , go for GTX 560M !

Third , You can't find all these specs in 13.3" notebook !
