Two questions about G9X

1. I know the sensor has positive acceleration but I was wondering if it was a constant positive acceleration or does it vary. By that I mean will it always be 5% acceleration when wiping the mouse across the mouse pad slowly or very quickly or will it vary depending on how fast or how slow you move it.

2. I have been told that the SROM of the G9X has a DPI stepping size of 100 rather than 90 like other Avago 9500 SROMS. I was wondering if there was any solid proof of this on logitechs end rather than rumor.

1. it's not constant unfortunately.

2. AFAIK driver only allows you to adjust in 100 DPI steps.

Just in-case: Make sure you have turned off windows acceleration (forgot exactly what it is called, but can look it up if you need it). I had to do that for my R.A.T. 7

It's called 'Enhance Pointer Precision' and yes it is unchecked.
