Todays Shell Shocker Price?

Today Newegg threw up a nice HD. Anyone know what the price will be?

Western Digital Caviar Black WD7502AAEX 750GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Just wondering if I should make it a point to be on.. Always looking for more HD's incase mine fail..

Thanks and will rep for answer..

It's only $50 here in Canada! But we get gouged on shipping in by newegg in Canada. I can get an entire order shipped from ncix for $8 most days, yet this single HDD would cost me $7.24 from newegg... unacceptable.

It's a great HDD, and thats a decent price, especially since its free shipping.

I mean $15 off sounds good. Wonder if I really need it
post #5 of 10
Amazing deal but I wouldnt get it unless you NEED the extra space.
Look into the F3, its on par with the blacks. I cant tell the diff between my 1tb blacks and my F3 1tb unless i bench mark it. and the F3 is always 69 bucks off the egg.

You sure can. This is why I perfer the F3 to a black. When you look at the price tag, the F3 is a better drive. And I used to ONLY use blacks in my rigs lol. I loved my F3 so much I got a F4 2tb drive for media and WOW cant belive they only wanted 79 bucks for it, its quick as snot for a 5400RPM drive.
I'm corssing everything I have that seagate dosnt FUBAR the F3/4 drives....
