Phenom II 555, core unlocking, disabling core 0

Thread Starter
When I first bought my sig cpu, I was hopping for some unlocked cores but it seams I was unlucky, couldn't even unlock to x3 although 3 cores were working perfectly, the defective core was core 0 in x4 mode and that couldn't be disabled.(if you want to read more about this problem see here)
I was wondering if there is anyone else here that has experienced the same thing, or if there has been any other development of this issue since then.
le: the f10 BIOS version for my board didn't have the option either.

So you are saying:
core 0 (first core) is unstable when unlocking a 3rd or 4th core?
Did you overclock before unlocking? core 0 might not be able to handle 3.6ghz.
Try unlocking at stock clockspeed

Another question, has anyone ever noticed a difference between motherboards when it comes to core numbering? For example, a chip has core 3 that is unstable on board A, but on board B the unstable core is core number 1 (a real number difference, not a difference that is not caused by index starting with 0 or with 1)
The reason i ask this is because that could mean that my cpu could be unlocked on another board and the unstable core could have a different number and could be disabled so it would work as a three-core.
