Prototype question, - Page 2

Well, I am currently "testing" the performance of the game.
I decided to decrease all of the settings to "low".
I even decreased the resolution and I still get the same lags (well a little less I guess).
In this case, I guess this is a game bug, do you think?
The game is lagging sometimes, but not always.

I even tried to fraps some gameplay while the game was maxed out and I had no troubles most of the time, but sometimes the game is just lagging..
Could that be a bug? Like the sound bug with Prototype?

Hey guys. Sorry for bringing up an old thread (well, not that old) but I still experience the same problem and I really want to fix that. I still haven't OCed my 2500K simply because I don't find a reason to do it - I run everything perfectly smooth. Well, I did a lot of things that people told me to, but the game is still lagging. It is really weird, because after changing the settings to LOW, no AA, lower resolution - I still had the same problem - lags in particular moments (when rendering new parts of the city for example).

Does this mean that I have an HDD issue? I am 100% that my rig is not the problem here and I really want to play the game smoothly :-( it would be nice if someone who used to have this problem could give me an advice.. What do you think?
