Overclocked the 525M to 800/1600/935 !!!

Yesterday I managed to make a custom fan !
So I gathered some old fans of my old processor and powered them with usb ..

Then I put the fan somehow to cool the GPU !

I also have a Microsoft notebook cooling base but it doesn't make a difference !

Now I'm getting Idle temperature 40C ~ 44C !!!!!!!!!

After I was getting 50C ~ 52C !!!

idlec.png

So I decided to power my overclock from 600/1200/900 TO 800/1600/935 !

And Temps never got beyond 85C ! that's in heavy games !

Here is the overclock :

clocks.png

Temps while overclocked on gaming NFS Hot Pursuit :

tempsu.png

Also no aircrafts or anything during games it's STABLE !

On less demanding game like PES 2011 !

temps2.png

I will hook you up later with benchmarks and the guide smile.gif !

EDIT : Guys , Today I tried DiRT 3 Benchmark Tool !
On stock settings I'm getting 37.05FPS average , After Overclocking to 810/1620/965 !
I'm getting 50.01FPS average !!!
And temps never got beyond 85C !!!!

or you have vsync on, or like in BLOPS there is an FPS limit. I believe it is 91 in all of the newer CoD games.

Yes vsync limits your fps to your refresh rate (60 fps). If you want to see a difference you'll have to turn off vsync and compare.

frown.gif , I turned off vsync but I get the same FPS in PES 2011 ( 62 ~ 63 ) at 800/1600/956 !
I will download 3DMark Vantage today ..
But why no difference in gaming though i have overclocked it to more than 550M clocks !!!

Keep VSync enabled. It limits the FPS to the refresh rate of your display. Your display refreshes a certain amount of times, and from what i can see it's a 60Hz display, which mean it can only show a maximum FPS of 60. If you disable VSync and it gets more FPS, then it starts causing artefacts because your display can only show 60FPS yet the game you're playing is trying to show more than 60 FPS.
Quote:
Vertical Synchronisation

Vertical Synchronisation, often abbreviated to VSync is a method that tends to 'lock' the FPS of an application to the Refresh Rate of a monitor. For example, most monitors have a refresh rate of 60Hz and therefore with VSync enabled FPS is locked at 60. This is usually done for higher image quality and to prevent image tearing.
