The real piece...
To me that's a complimentary but slightly darker finish than the exterior of the 600T
I've got four good coats of that on there now. Next up some clear to protect it.

Now I have to be patient and let that paint cure for a good long time. I ran to Lowes and got some little silicon bumper pads. That will bring the panel out about 1/16" or so which is good and will let that edge show a little more on the sides. Almost ready to peel off the masking and see what it looks like.

I grabbed a 600T-M for my own use. Much as I love the windowed look, I prefer massive amounts of airflow.
The window looks much better than mesh and fans ever will.

Ohhhh, now that looks pretty. That's what I wanted. The edge work is the kicker CyberD.
It could, but it won't It's not necessary for my setup, and it would detract from the classical elegant paint work of the trim and that's what I want to see. The inside and the metal-flake gleam instead of the drives. 
It's exactly what I told you I wanted except for the work you did creating the painted edging and that's what really caught my eye as to distinctiveness.
It's distinctive and elegant. Not an easy thing to do with a request for just the plastic and the mark of the person who loves their work is that the inside is as nice as the outside.
