Its a nice build ofcourse but just totally rediculous and like the guys said, a rig half the price is going to out perform it in gaming and likely everything you`ll use it for - total waste

edit: and who designs their build around a mobo LOL the most rediculous overpriced one at that - you have it the wrong way around
I usually don't mind the mobos, BUT that one is the the one I want. So why does it matter ? lol I want the G1.Sniper 2 but its not out , but I still want it that bad. Honestly the boards don't matter but this specific one has two things on it that if I was to purchase separate would take up expansion space for other useful things. That board is VERY useful for MY NEEDS, and about the power per dollar... SO Not like we are gonna run Benchmarks man

I knew what I was doing, I bought what I wanted for me.

I don't have to follow the crowd if I do not want to ... the thing that gets to me is that the performance won't make a difference because I have not even built the system yet.

Its all in parts in boxes at my house right now... I had already used the CPU, and never got the 24 GBs of ram working. Infact I went through 2-4 different kits before I ended up with kingston. I used to have the White Corsair Vengence rams with low voltage. Lucky for me I tried them out and they are fantastic. Anyways This is how I learn, the hard way. I sometimes prefer it that way otherwise hey... lol This is me learning but it is not a total mistake.

lol sorry i really dont mean to be a dick i just think you cud sell them parts or return them and end up with a BEAST system, but a functional beast system that you will actually fully utilize. Like an i7 2600, normal mobo or something exotic like a classy nf200 board, less posey but more useful case with wc designed into it, a pair of 570s, 8gb of really fast ram, full watercooling loop, jesus it would be beautiful

not that its not already awesome but i garauntee you wont utilize even half of what that system is capable of

There's nothing wrong with building a pc around a motherboard in my opinion, because you can always make it work with almost any purpose you've got in mind. The one thing that annoys me is that people just go out and buy the so called latest & greatest stuff without doing their research 1st.

Now if you did your research and built your machine around the motherboard, then props to you, but without a defined purpose its a fail in my book.

Alright lets do this, ...

Here is what I would personally change with the build because I am super pissed that the G1.Sniper 2 is just so much more sophisticated in every possible way.

So...

New Mobo = G1.Sniper 2 ( Have to wait ... F-M-L)

New Ram = 16GB Corsair Vengence LP (White 1.35v) (This would be x2 8GB kits)

New CPU = 2600k ( Duhh)

Everything else stays the same so, yes I know what I am doing lol

You don't have to go with LP ram, but its ok, so well skip that.

With those changes, i'd still change the SSD to a 120/240GB for more room for programs & games and the monitors to the Dell Ultrasharp U2311H/HM x3 or a single 2711/3011 for better colour reproduction & bigger resolution.

I think its overall going to be great for performance, but its got some things I think you waisted money on that will really not help the computer at except for being more expensive.

1. i7 970 over i7 2600k, why?
2. 22 inch monitor, why? I mean if it was a 3D monitor I might understand, but still then you should be looking into full 1080p 3d monitor's in order to benefit with a 580 gtx, with these components especially a gtx 580 why such a small monitor, with that resolution you get no benefit from a 580 compared to a single 570, barely any benefit from a 570 and 560 ti.
2. 3gb evga gtx 580 instead of 1.5gb, why? The only purpose of having more memory, is because it allows you to play at higher resolutions without slowdown, 1.5gb's is plenty for 22 inch monitor, The only other thing you could have considered was two gtx 580's but you ruined that since you have an i7 970 meaning you very well could have a cpu bottleneck with two gtx 580's . You would have been much better off saving your money and getting a single gtx 570 as there is barely going to be any noticable difference in gaming with that small monitor, and then later on purchase a second 570 when your ready to go 3D gaming or get a second monitor.
4. why such an expensive case that is so bad at cooling, unless your going for looks what a waste of money.

I am going to be nice and give a 6/10 I think this rig is way too expensive for what it is. I bet its costing you more to build this then it costed me to build my computer including all its current components and original's, and I'll even bet that for that price you will loose to my upgraded 3 year old computer in gaming performance as well. I respect high quality components but you have to complement them and this computer is way too unbalanced and has too many overpriced components.

Are you buying that stuff in addition to what you have already? Or are you selling/returning what you already bought? Why not just....keep it all and screw everyone else? Your system is going to last you quite some time. And regardless to what the Sandy Bridge fanboys say, it is a very solid PC and will run everything you throw at it perfectly. So what if it doesn't benchmark as well.
