The place where I got my processor has agreed to a return, as there is nothing wrong with it

Now to send the mobo back to Newegg for a return.

Screw it I will just wait.

Last part will be the exchange for the ram... then I will be done. Gotta wait on that G1.Sniper 2... I am prolly going to explode or something waiting that long -_-

Sandybridge and x58 are gonna get killed off soon... Ivybridge will be the next best thing and then it will go mainstream. If I totally held off and just waited just imagine what kind of build I would have then lol. Just go total Ivybridge and skip Sandy altogether. I have my laptop, I really don't "NEED" this computer I just wanted something to do honestly
1. every system on ocn is overkill for the average user.
2. any hardware you say you dont need there's other users who find essential. me for example i dont care for gpu's. but your system has to be balanced. infact i didnt think i needed a bigger gpu til i got my hands on one. dual monitor is #1 for me since i do home business and other "important" stuff.

If your going gigabyte, compare the UD7 to the G1.

You might want to get something that can support more if you wish to upgrade in the future. That G1 only has the ability to do a sli config (ie not tri sli if your're ever in the mood to keep spending!).

Granted not the same color scheme. You do have a nice onboard audio, but you can make that better.

G1.Sniper.2
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x8 (PCIEX8)
2 x PCI Express x1 slots
2 x PCI slots

UD7
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x16 (PCIEX16_1, PCIEX16_2)
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x8 (PCIEX8_1, PCIEX8_2)

1 x PCI Express x1 slot (this is useless, so don't count on using it)
2 x PCI slots

You'll not get the bigfoot ethernet chip, nor the audio chip. I also don't know the price point of the G1, but if it's more expensive than the UD7, then it's a no go imo.

Just givin' ya options.

They got to me -_-. But I did some reading and the mobo is really the best thing I could have right now, I like it more than I like the 2600k lol.

If it doesn't work out screw it... The rig stays as is.

Only reason I want that Sniper 2 Mobo is because it offers things that I don't need to add to my system. So in a way it leaves me with a lot of extra space and stuff.. ---- Man watch the first Gen of Sniper 2 boards fail, that is how my luck rolls

the Sniper 2 is gonna cost me 359.99, compared to what I spent already I really don't get much back in terms of money but I get a future proof product that supports two different CPUS... win
