Problem solved.

hopefully that gives you an idea of what I think of your rig.

With SB-E out in a few months, it's pointless to get a 970.

Its not as easy as it sounds, I totally went against my rules.

I built the computer from purchasing almost all of the parts on the internet, I really don't have time time to go through 3-4 different RMA processes. Then wait again...

Im not very concerned with the monitor thing, Just that my idea with the GFX card was to Step Up to a GTX 590 , so I called EVGA and they said they do not allow a step up for that card. Im not really sure if I need to worry about the GFX card too much because I don't even know if I would have time to tell the difference. I am rarely at home so I would only get to use my computer maybe 3 times a month if that. So I don't have time to send everything back.

Ok, the only time you need a 3 GB 580 is if you have a monitor with the resolution of 2560 x 1600.

If anything, you should be considering a 570 instead of a 590.

There is no difference for me really, because while Sandy Bridge is new, it will be killed off like socket 1366 is being killed right now within a year. Thats just how INTEL rolls, and I already made my choice to go back to AMD on my next build because INTEL is just too expensive period and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Know what computer I am using right now? - A Laptop, and do you know what happened when I got this laptop ( ASUS G73JW-A1) Sandybridge came out right after I ordered it and it was too late. No matter how we look at it there is NO freaking way we can keep up with everything for computers. . If you guys wanna be happy check out the specs for my laptop lol ---- > ASUS G73JW-A1 Got it off Amazon actually at the beginning of the year some time

Get rid of the 3GB 580. That's just another $100 wasted.

Haha I'm all for overkill, I mean look at my two 580s on a 1080p monitor but 3GB is completely unnecessary. Only one game I own comes close to maxing my 1.5GB 580s and that's Crysis 2. But it's not worth the extra money for a 3GB card.

I got two cards to simply ensure huge framerates with the most eye candy possible. Hell some games make your eyes pop out of your head with all IQ settings maxed.

If I was more disciplined then I would have waited for the G1.Sniper 2 and Held on to my 2600k , which mind you guys I bought that processor first so my intentions were all there lol , it just turned into something else due to my timing and being impatient

I tired man!!, but the order went though and it shipped already! >_< I wanted to get something else but my brain bought it too fast lol . It will be here tomorrow --- DOH! I even read in reviews that it UNDER performed cards like it which where OC'ed anyways... with the 3GB for a less price tag. I went EVGA for that Lifetime warranty T_T
