EVGA Classified 4 Way SLI Boot Issue

Thread Starter
I just bought a preowned EVGA Classified 4 motherboard, running 2 x 480 sli, 12 GB of Corsair Vengeance 9 9 9 24, SSD C300, 3 x F3 raid 0. Every time I switch the computer on it gets stuck on code 25, and it reqires me to press the reset button every time which is really annoying, is this normal if not any help to rectify this problem would be appreciated. Thanks

What BIOS reversion are you running?

A quick google suggests that the culprit is the Virtualization Technology, try clearing the CMOS and just set your RAM to stock and disable that and try again, if it works then set your overclock and try it again.

Also make sure you're running the latest BIOS. While your at that, run your RAM on stock and run a memtest for a few hours.

The memtest ran for 1.5hrs. VT was initially disabled also tried enabling it. no change. I will try the memtest again on stock last time it was on overclock.

Let memtest run for a few hours on stock before eliminating the RAM. Does VT respond when the system is on stock?

EDIT:

Seems that this is normal for some X58 mobo's more specifically most EVGA mobo's, it's refered to something called a double pump which relates to the VT and 'allows the clocks to sync'.
