Pull off a keycap.

Anyway I know the Packard Bell is a dome. They're waaaaaay too cheap to ever think of spending money on mechanical keyboards.

Usually, but not always. Apple Extended IIs feel sort of like rubber domes.

Both have rubber domes. The older mac keyboards did use alps switches though.

Not really, some mech switches are just dire.

I've seen mech Packard Bell keyboards. Had some nice Alps IIRC.

i have/used both of those. answer is no, but the apple keyboard is a nicer rubber dome. has indvidual green rubber domes vs a sheet.
