I can't believe Newegg is STILL holding their ground on the pricing. I'm really starting to lose faith in them.
I can't believe people actually bought these from newegg. Newegg's policy has always been that they will not price adjust. I have had items change price while the box was still enroute to my house, and they would not change the price. I had to reorder and refuse shipment on the first order. Now with the touchpad, you guys bought them all up, so it would be kinda pointless of them to drop the price when they are sold out and aren't going to sell anymore.
And I am willing to bet plenty of people went 1 step further and opened theirs because they were too impatient and thought, "surely newegg will price adjust eventhough they never have before." So a lot of people that try to return them are just going to have them sent right back again with newegg stating they do not accept returns once they've been opened.
Even with you I'd be looking into how long you have to refuse shipment. I am willing to be it's not unlimited, and if you hang onto that thing for too long you're gonna be paying every penny for it
