[Pre Central] HP Begins TouchPad Liquidation, 16GB for $99 and 32GB for $149 - Page 15

hp.com is running again but prices are full retail.

At least I got one in. I'm hearing webOS is bad, but I'll reserve judgment for now since its going to be my wife's toy. Here's hoping the android "conversion" will done some time soon

you got a good point. Once a massive amount of people try WebOS and realize how user-friendly it is, words of mouth will get the OS much further than selling the tablet alone. This is a good move from HP to up its WebOS reputation or at least that's what they're doing over at the execs board.

You have to re-delete cookies and cache to see the liquidation price again. It's like a one time super secret thing. Then you have to repeat the cleansing process.

More like the $100 covers all their costs, so they're just getting straight out of the tablet market.

The isuppli cost of the touchpad is $318. Trust me, this isn't part of some greater plan, they're simply running away from webOS as fast as they can.

Did that on three different browsers, no dice . Also, the hp store is a different one than the one I was able to successfully order my tablet. I'll keep trying

edit: out of stock again
Well. I used XPS to save the page with my order # and I'm not going to close the tab. Hopefully it'll go through. I'm sure all orders counted on the "in stock" counter. I wouldn't mind if they charged me full price just so I can get them.
