use the modem-less AP8060 that the touchpad uses. they would be the target candidates to port to touchpad. could maybe do boot ->boot like IOS jailbreak where you strap webos to boot android.

Since AP8060 is SOC (all in one) - good chance of this working.

So, given the hardware similarities of the said devices to the TouchPad, a bootstrap of WebOS to run Android is a possibility. But then again, we'll have to see if some developers can make this a reality, given that the WM6.5 HTC HD2 has been successfully using Android (among other OS) for a long time.

Cross your fingers for a port.

Okay guys, I'm gonna sign off for now and get some shuteye. If there's anyone who will have some new info regarding tablet availability, don't hesitate to announce it for everyone reading the thread. Thanks all.

So are there any apps for Web OS? Cause I'm not seeing them.
If it ran Android, I'd be all over it. I just can't figure out what I'd do with it besides watch streams or browse the internet with it.

On second thought, that may be worth 99 dollars.

Saw that amazon has them listed for this price but through Target. Seems very tempting

To buy or not to buy...

It's sold out on Target and shows the original price on HP's website.
