the system i have in my sig is around $700 and that is somewhat entry. and you might want to get a 750 ish watt, as long as its a good brand. i dont really know that much about psu's.

its actually not that difficult danik, all I did was take apart my pc and put it all back together again.

After that all I did was ensure the parts i was choosing were compatible...its so easy and saves a ton of money from buying pre built.

For a 2500k and a gtx 560ti a decent 450W would be enough.

LOL this is entry level?!

When i read "Entry level" in thread title I was expecting to see an HP or Lenovo of Dell with more ram and a better cooler LOL

It's a nice rig to be sure though...

^dude is just being modest i guess

anyway the i5 consumes very little power unless you oc it.
I would recommend a 700watt for very high overclock on the CPU and for possible overclocked SLI GTX 560 ti in the future.
the hyper 212+ is very good. (look at my rig for cooling/overclock reference)

you're going to be maxing out most games at that res
and i'm sure the upgrade from that 1.6 GHz celeron (ew ) is awesome

I think he was referring to OP question regarding SLI in the future.

Thread Starter
my bad, perhaps not so much entry level, haha. i guess i got that idea while reading through 20 forums and seeing how many people have GTX 570/580's in SLI, i7 2600k, ASUS Extreme mobos, SSDs, water cooling, full tower cases, etc..

If I was to have 2 560's running in SLI, there would be no need to overclock them, right - that would be an overkill? (unless you're playing like what, metro 2033 on 3 displays?) To be honest, i don't know why, but it's really tempting to just stick another 560 ti in there (money matters aside) even though i really don't need it. it's weird.

regarding the psu, i intend to replace it with something better in the future. Would replacing the PSU be something that I could manage myself? i heard it's a pain the ass....
