Hello!
Ive been looking at psu's that would be suitable for 2 gtx 460 sli. im currently looking at this one because of its good reviews and price.

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=50153&...e=COOLERMASTER

would this be ok for that? or is there another brand/ psu that would be better?
my budget btw is around 100$
thank you in advance

At least a GOOD 650w

This GX750 you linked is good enough too.

Try this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005
Or this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371051

To be honest, you should be good with a good 650 watt like the first one.

The reviews for that show that voltage regulation on 3.3v rail suffers from crazy ripple!
It even said in one that it can only handle uptp 600w but would struggle and that it can only easily handle upto 450w
I bought this as a bundle with a HAF X for my rig because it was only an extra £30, biggest waste ever! With one 6870 the fan was stupendously loud and the voltage ripple can damage components in the long term, it looks amazing for the price, connectors and wattage, but I seriously recommend that you do NOT buy it and buy something else; do not waste your money like I did, now for me its a backup PSU
Is recommend anything from corsair, antec, XFX, seasonic or silverstone
Not sure about dollars but I think you might be able to get a antec high current gamer 750w or a XFX 650w, for that price don't expect it to be modula. If u get a good 650w psu preferably from one of the brands I recommended you should be able to run sli 460s on 650w

alright how about this one here? its by antec but its 650 and is sli certified

Yes that antec would be a good choice

That one will work, Coolermaster PSUs aren't horrible but they definitely aren't tier 1 either. Stay with Antec, Enermax, Seasonic and Corsair. The XFX 650W is an option too since they use Seasonic parts, if you can put up with all the marketing about single rail > multi rail on the box.

Its correct.

If ur on tight budget take this one
http://ncix.com/products/?sku=63365&...e=COOLERMASTER

But if you can, go for this Corsair 650
http://ncix.com/products/?sku=62825&...acture=Corsair

or this Seasonic 750

I believe a seasonic x-650w would be good enough.
The Seasonic X-650 is no doubt an awesome PSU, but it's $40+ more than all the other 650W PSUs. Up to you if you think it's worth it.
