[Build Log] Silverstone CFP51 v2.0 [56k Warning]

Just got it in the mail and I liked the construction of it, pretty solid.

So I decided to post pictures of it and how I installed it since I don't see a lot of people here have these. I got this because my HAF 932 doesn't have good front panel air intake. Recently replaced my stock Cooler Master 200mm Red LED fan to a NZXT FN-200 and it's a good replacement.

Anyways, back to the product Only problem I had with it is that it didn't fit my case and I couldn't mount it. But it was because of the plastic front cover was too long (Don't know how to explain it so just look at the pictures and you'll see ) I had to cut a small piece of plastic on either side so it will fit with a Dremel and it was the first time I used one. So let me know on how well I did lol. Also filed it down where I cut it so it would be smooth somewhat.

Unboxed:

The CM Fan that I'm gonna replace it with the stock Silverstone one:

Taking it apart

Cooler Master Fan and Silverstone Fan side by side

Replaced the fan

Put it back together

Found out it wont fix cause of the plastic cover is blocking the little hooks where the thing sits on inside my case.

So I cut it!

Now it's "Flush" with everything and is nice and snugly

Finally done

Found a use for the lonely Silverstone fan

Kinda like a Push/Pull setup hahah

Whatcha you guys think?

I looked into that one as well as the Scythe one. I originally wanted the Scythe one but I couldn't find it/buy it anywhere. But I love my Silverstone one Makes it look professional
