Need help overclocking

Thread Starter
Hey guys I've been tryingto overclock my 2600k and I managed to get it to 4.4ghz but I always get bsod's about 20 mins into prime. The problem is that this is with me giving it 1.35v and i've seen many results where people get a higher clock speed at an even lower voltage. So far all I have touched is the CPU frequency and the vcore. Are there any other settings that I should change to stabilize my overclock? Thanks

Memory has to be up to par, temps have to be A OK. And every processor is different.
SOMETIMES the north bridge voltage may have to be touched, but I suggest against it. You're not beastin on 5ghz also FSB likes to run along with the CPU. You just gotta keep working at it. You've begun the challenge

Head over to the sandy stable club thread in my sig. There is a TON of great info in the op, including guides and a spreadsheet with a bunch of stable overclocks and their voltages/temps, as well as bios settings for a lot of them.

Change your VRM to 350.
