How to clean a rubberdome keyboard like logitech elite?

Thread Starter
My logitech elite from years ago is all shiny greasy and dusty. I cant remove the key caps or at least dont think i can... (can i if i pull harder?)

But i want to clean it up to make it more usable.

How do i safely clean off the shiny keys and all the grit and grime that has accumulated over the years?

you should be able to pop em off... i did it all the time with cheap dell boards.

ah cool ill give it a try...

Whats the best thing to give the board a scrub with? The area im concerned about is UNDER the key caps.

I plan on using mr clean magiv eraser on the key caps and casing, but what about the insides of the board?

I've used those Clorox disinfectant wipes and they work pretty well! Also, a compressed air duster will work well to get dust out of places you can't reach. It's always nice to look at your keyboard after you've cleaned it
