What he said, look at the drives in the bios and make sure the appropriate one is on. Most likely SATA-0, but of course it depends where it's plugged in at.

There are grey, light blue, and dark blue Sata ports on the motherboard. I plugged in a hard drive into each port to see if any would get recognized. I still get no hard disk detected on startup but in the bios i do see one drive present which is connected to the grey port. Which color should the drives be connect too?
I am new to this so i am not familiar with what the bios settings should be. I have a common motherboard so can anyone tell me what the bios settings should be set at? After the system crashes I get the screen to start Window normally or do the repair. When i start Windows normally the Windows splash screen is there as if it is starting up but then it crashes.

Gray port is fine. Are you getting no hard drive detected during the POST (specifically, when it says Marvell), or no drive detected when trying to install Windows?

I'm getting no hard drive detected during post. it does proceed to load Windows then I get the blue screen and auto reboot. I would like to see the error message on the blue screen. How do I stop the auto reboot so I can copy the error message?

I the BIOS I have AHCI Mode, S.M.A.R.T Status Check enabled. I do see the ssd under SATA3G(Blue). Hot Plug Disabled.

When I run the startup repair and view diagnostics and repair details I get
session details
system disk=/device/harddisk0
autochk run-0
number of root causes=1
