Ok I needed to move wow files from computer to computer and I seemed to run into major USB problems....but only with storage USB devices. I used 2 different mass storage devices
-WD 500gb Passport drive (powered via USB)
-Iomega GDHDU 1tb drive (self powered)
Computers
-This one (Vista 32 bit OEM)
-Friend's (W7 64bit OEM)
-My Sig Rig (W7 64bit OEM)

Alright, so first files were transferred from the WD drive to a separate flash drive...worked fine. Hours later I go to my friends place to get the wow files on my WD passport...his computer fails to recognize it, I try different ports, restart, try to get drivers, nothing, then i tried my Iomega drive, doesn't recognize it either. I Go to my sig rig (has usb keyboard and mouse) with just the WD drive, doesn't recognize either (ports, restart etc). So I gave up.

About an hour later my friend texts me his computer is stuck in a windows repair loop, I try my best to fix that, but end up reformatting it.

Now on my computer (not sig rig) won't recognize any storage devices, any idea on how to fix this.
