Having a bottleneck does not at all imply lack of fluidity, just that performance could be better if the source of the bottleneck was faster.

I have games that use a few percent of my CPU, while my GPU is at 100% utilization, and they run quite well.

Kind of off topic, but shouldn't there be a programme which can dynamically share workload amongst all cores, even single threaded apps.? One core could be dedicated to this and letting 7 split the load - this would technically make multi core processors really fast with any programme config essentially equalling a really high GHz rate. Like sli etc......

Edit: multi core not milky ore lol. IPhone predictive is v annoying

Note that simple sadly.

The program has to be developed with multithreading in mind to work with many cores.

I'm no developer though so I do hope someone proves me wrong.

I have built my bulldozer build just waiting for the processors to come out!!
Asus crosshair 5 motherboard 6 gigs dominators cooler master 1200w power suply 2 asus gtx 580's 2 WD 6gbps 2tb hard drives (cant remember the name lol) cooler master v8 in a cooler master storm scout modded and painted red on the front and side mesh. Right now i'm running a amd 1090t processor overclocked on air to 4.2 with full load temps at 42c idle 32c.
I love the UEFI bios really nicely done and able to adjust via my android phone with the rog connect app and my older build which was a crossair 3 motherboard via the rog connect feature.

Some math requires the answer to a previous step be known in order to proceed forward. This can not be shared between cores. You would have to predict the answer to a step in the future to do this. And if you could accurately predict the answer to a future step, why not just use all the cores for prediction instead of calculating in the first place?

I know what you mean but surely the other cores could be allocated tasks which then send the answer that your refering to back to the main core or allocation core to then send this answer on ready for another task, there's bound to be a way to do this, and why I said a whole core and programme would be needed to process all the allocating and sending of instructions based on previous answers etc
