Ubuntu Server TeamViewer grapraphic glitch

Hey
I am running a Dell PowerEdge 1950 with Ubuntu Server and i am trying to connect to it trough my Windows 7 laptop but i only get a weird screen glitch

Ubuntu
Release 11.04(natty)
Kernel Linux 2.6.38-11Server
Gnome 2.32.1
TeamViewer 6
IntelXeon 5160 x2
16GB Ram

i am able to SSH to the server and i am able to connect trough TeamViewer so i can see myself moving the Cursor over the screen but the screen picture is looking like this]

I dont know the answer to your problem but I think you may get better help by sending a support ticket to the teamviewer support http://www.teamviewer.com/en/help/createticket.aspx

I run TV6 on all my computers... and never have I seen such a thing. Have you tried adjusting settings? I would think the quality/speed setting would have a bit of play with this. Do you have no-background-image selected?

i'm not going to point out the obvious problem of putting a gui on a server to begin with

out of curiosity is it only happening when you try to connect to the ubuntu box or any computers you try to connect to using tv6 from this laptop? have you tried to connecting to the ubuntu box from another computer to see if the problem persist?

i've seen similar things like this happen when graphics drivers on the client machine being outdated.
