BSOD's occurring way too frequently! HELP!

Hi all,

I have a custom built system made by myself. It is frequently getting BSOD's and it is really frustrating! The errors change each time and don't occur at the time of opening any specific program. I have run Memtest for about 48hours and there were no errors. However when I was building my computer, me being a stupid 13 yr old wasn't careful when placing the CPU in and of course I bent 2 pins. I immediately removed the processor and straightened the pins. I took the processor to a computer shop and got them to test it and they said it was perfectly fine. I'm not sure if it is that or not.

Thanks in advance, XC!

What are some of the error codes? Does it only BSOD while the cpu is loaded or idle or does it not make a difference?

I have had so many different BSOD's but lately the most frequent would have to be PFN_LIST_CORRUPT code: 4e. I used to often get Memory_Management errors as well but not so often now.

Also it is very rare that I get a BSOD while the cpu is loaded. I was uploading a video to my channel and several times my computer crashed. Another thing is that I have been having alot of trouble with Java lately.

First step is to set the PC back to stock (even auto) settings and see if it happens when booting.

If so, if possible, try a new install of Windows on another hard disk drive.

Failing that, it's time to start narrowing it down on which part may be faulty.

I have over the time of 12 months re-installed windows 5 times. Also last time I re-installed was onto another HDD; all of my PC is stock.
