I was looking @ my mem and it says 8-8-8-20 yet Corsair does not sell a triple channel 6GB kit that is 8-8-8-20... can anyone help explain this?

The timings on the memory tab are what the memory timings are currently set at. If you have not changed them these are what the kit defaults to. Also note the memory is only running at 1066mhz (DDR is double data rate, hence you double the 533 value), and for DDR3 that is pretty slow. On the SPD it may list what the correct timings, voltage, and frequency are. If not, you will want to find out the exact kit you have and manually set these things for optimal performance, and this can all be done in the bios.

Ha, thank you. I was confused about this whole thing since I have been thinking of adding another 6GB since they are only $60 and I can get them for half that because of corporate discount.

The SPD tab just shows the SPD. This doesn't show what the memory is running at, that's the memory tab. You want to go into the bios, set the memory to 1600mhz, voltage to 1.65v, and first timings to 9-9-9-24-2T command rate. Everything else should be on auto. Then you can double check in the memory tab. If it is listed like on the SPD tab, you know the memory is running optimally at the rated specifications.

I assume your rig is overclocked like it's listed, so in this scenario you may need to raise the QPI/DRAM voltage. This is because you're raising the memory frequency and CPU uncore frequency (which should be double the DRAM frequency but you can leave it on auto- no problem) so this voltage might need a bump to remain stable. Prime95 blend test and LinX are great ways to stress for stability with things like this.
