Ram is running at rated speed at timings
It isn't stable at stock speeds and crashed after 2 hours, getting a reacement

if your using msiafter to oc your card that is the issue
disply the msiafter or remov it from your pc

Well I can tell you right now that BFBC2 has problems with third party video card overclocking software. (Trixx/Afterburner) And will cause a hard lock up every time.

I've had this issue since the beginning of time.

+Make sure your ram is running at it's correct voltage and the timings are to spec.

It's either a really bad chip or something is wrong.

Have you tried overclocking the long way? Increasing the multi until it's no longer stable then raising the voltage by 2 notches. Repeat until temps are too much.

Like everyone said above, the application your using to overclock your graphics card is most likely causing it. Or even your overclock on the graphics card itself.

I doubt this is a bad CPU

I know you probably want another chip but, try 4.2ghz with 1.255 llc level 7

Its wat i use for 4.3ghz.

Edit: Also change blck to 99.0 or anywhere in 99, instead of 100

in my sig it shows my GPU is OC'd, but most of the time i play at the factory OC, only when i suffer from laggin or difficulty when playing do i use the oc

it seems to be the chip as even at stock it crashed after 2 hours and 10 mins of blend, crashing and making that horrible sound which really made me worry
i have emailed the company i bought it from and see what will happen next
thanks for the replies

What crashes? Cause you're talking about your gpu and then you say blend witch leads me to believe you mean your 2500k??

Not all chrips are equal but try 1.255V @ 4.2ghz.

whats the batch, maybe its a new batch where intel realized they were selling chips that were too capable, and decided to let lower grade cpu's out on the market. i have no idea about these batches but it is a possibility.
