GTX 570 Crashing non-stop again!

Alright, this is my second thread about the same issue. I recieved a brand new card from newegg and once again it worked awesome for a short bit, then it stopped working under load, and crashes every 6 seconds no matter what I do. do you think I should ask about RMA'ing for a different product? I think this is ridiculous.

Bad luck but it sounds like you got two bad cards in a row. RMA to EVGA?

I RMA'd to newegg, and got a new card, still sealed and everything two days later. the same exact thing happened. what could I be doing wrong?? there is no overclocking involved! I'm thinking about returning for a reference 570. should I? :/

Don't RMA to EVGA, that would take along enough that would be out of the return window of newegg and you'd be forced to deal with EVGA from there on out. Generally try to deal with the retailer for as long as possible before resorting to using the manufacturer. I would also recommend a different type of 570 as well. Specifically either this one or

do you think newegg would let me RMA the card for a different one? I payed $335, but I may just charge $30-$40 and step it up a bit.

voltage for what? my GPU? It's stock, and cannot be changed. the card is non-reference and nothing can be changed besides the clocks.

Yes I would certainly be asking for a refund at this point, stand your ground about being unhappy of having two DOA cards and they should give you a refund.

First though I would do some more troubleshooting that anyone here may suggest to verify that it is actually the GPUs. I don't really have any suggestions for that though.

erm, I had a thread a week ago because the old card was doing the same thing. I changed drivers, plugs on my psu, took it out and let it sit, and reset my motherboard to stock settings, changed pci-e lanes. nothing worked.

Oh don't get me wrong I wasn't saying you were jumping to conclusions, just that it would be a bad idea to immediately assume it's just the GPUs, if you've already done the due process to an extent you feel happy with then my recommendation would be to get a refund from newegg. Stand your ground and remind them this is the second card that was DOA, tell them you'd like a refund so that you can buy a different card. Usually they will just refund you however you paid but worst case I'd settle for is them letting you put the money towards a better card from them, like store credit.

I just misspelled credit (don't laugh) and can anyone tell me why the hell "Reddit" is being suggested by autocorrect?
