But when it comes to gaming it doesn't matter about raw speed of the CPU you just want True cores and 3Ghz+ with a Good GPU thats all

Look at this http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?...20+%40+3.30GHz

2120 now and you can upgrade to an Ivy Bridge chip in 6 months

This guy wins it imo. The only thing you could do if you wanted to save a few $$ is buy the EVGA GTX 460 off their B-stock website. I think they have 460s or 465's for like $99 shipped last time I checked. I've had 3 separate b-stock cards (along with numerous new ones) and they've all been equally great.

But in games that need real multi core like GTA IV thats where AMD take the leap I have see systems running I3 & very simalar card to mine and they get much lower FPS when a lot of stuff is on screen even Rockstar have stated GTA IV loves multi core (just a way for them to cover up its a bad port).

Just check this out and see what you think http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...rs-review.html

Passmark? Horrible benchmark to compare with. 2100 quite easily beats out the X6 and X4 in a lot of cpu demanding games because of it's superior IPC

To add to my mITX idea, you can change the motherboard to a Gigabyte H67N, and it would come out cheaper, as the wifi may not be important. That was just a setup for a friend who needed built in wifi.

You do know that more than likely VALVe will work with AMD for Counter-Strike:Global Offensive because they worked With them for when the orange box came out and worked with them to code Half-Life 2 64 bit for full AMD64 support and not EM64T also AMD has ATI and VALVe alwats worked for they they classed the old Radeon 9800 as the best card to play Half-Life 2 one when it came out.

Stop trolling this thread. That comment is based on pure speculation. You have no first hand knowledge of what valve intends to do.
