EVGA SR-2 + 2 Kuhler 920

Hi !

Building my first water cooled system: EVGA SR-2 with 2 Kuhler 920s.

Everything seems to work fine, two Kuhlers are recognized by windows - but is seems like the included software is only allowing to change the settings for one of the kuhlers - not both ?!

The one CPU is listed with <40 C under load (. The MB shows a much higher value (not sure, how 1

The pipes of the one CPU seem a lot warmer then the other (the one were I got the fans to spin faster).

Not sure, were to go next. Didn't find anybody that has this setup - I hope to find somebody this way and get some feedback on how to control the two 920s individually.

Thank you -

Not to be mean, but you bought an SR-2 with some pretty expensive CPU's. Why not go with a full custom watercooling instead of those all in one units?

no offense taken. never did this before, seemed like a good price/performance/noise solution. what would be the advantage of the custom version ?

Better cooling (ex: temperatures), quieter (depending on your radiator and fan choice), customization (can add a video card to your loop or cool your chipset), pure enjoyment, etc.

Bling and bragging rights come to mind... but.

-Better temps.
-much quieter operation.
-High OC potential.
-Total integration of all heated parts (bling factor there)
-Complete temp & noise control with a fan controller.

You seem to be ok on budget if you got an SR-2. I'd get another 1.5k and invest in a sturdy wc loop.
