Are you cooling the GPU's with universal blocks or not.
What type of fans are you going to use?
I'd not defy physics just because. Warm air rises, I'd put intake at the bottom and the exhaust at the top. I'd also get filters for the two bottom ones, and it'd be an obligation if you live in a dusty place or have a carpet.
If you WC the GPU's I think four good fans can do the job ok (make sure the rest of the vid cards get air, so no hose/ducts thingies or whatever you meant). Some Silverstone 180 air penetrators on the bottom and a pair of 140's (Noiseblockers!!!) on the top aught to do a better job.
Can you post a pic of your layoit for the box (ie google sketchup or something?)
