If you take 5 mins to check tri sli benchmarks you will see that the fps are near identical, maybe 3 fps. The point is that it makes 8x8x4x = 8x8x8x f your comparing 8x8x to 16x16x that's not really the point of nf200. Its negledgable anyway. 1155 and nf200 anyday for gaming over the 1366

Nf200 on X58 or previous platforms has been used to increase SLI capability. On the UD9 for instance they use two NF200 for 4-way SLi at 16x per slot. Most if not all X58 boards without NF200 can do 3 way SLI/CF, and this board can do 4-way CF because of slot spacing.

This board is for benchers, as SB is no fun to bench, you can't even go below -20ish C. This board is an excellent board, I have mine right here. The funny thing is that X58 benching will live on for a pretty good time.
That's why I got mine Once I get my phase unit re-gassed I'm gonna have me some fun

I do wish though that Gigabyte was a little more on the ball with BIOS releases. This board has been in f5b since May...time to release the next version.

For those of you who have not heard the OC board line is being stopped. Sales were very bad and HQ Execs said that there will be no more OC boards.

But we are told that GB will be making like super boards with same features like VRM, caps, and stuff like that like buttons, but on a high end model, like the UD9 with buttons and better VR. I guess the name doesn't sell the board so the name is changing,a nd prob add back some connectivity.

This came up at HWBot a few weeks ago, its over there.
