Best gpu for $200

Thread Starter
hey everyone! I just build a new pc but I need a graphics card for it. not really sure what to get or if I should even spend $200 on it since I'm not a heavy gamer. I play every now and then. when I do play it's games such as lego star wars 3, warcraft, starcraft, the witcher and I'm planning on buying dragon age. I will mainly use the pc for watching hd videos and I may order a blu-ray player for it. I don't mind having a good gpu so in case I get something a little more graphics intensive it wil play but like I said I don't really play much or get any of the newer games. I like all the old stuff. if anybody can find me a nice deal out there that would be awesome. I've been recommended to get the gtx 460 which seems to be a good, popular card and it has 256 bit graphics but don't know if I need that much. if you have any suggestions, plesae post the links and I'll check them out. thanx

I would recommend a 6870. Its what I use, and honestly you can run almost anything you want at close to maxed out settings at 1080p with it.

If you can find a 560 ti for under 200 go for it, but I find that unlikely. The HD 6870 is a great option, you might want to look at the GTX 560 (sans Ti) that might be good if you realy want cuda or physX.

Non ti isn't worth it. It's just an overpriced 460. The 470 is the fastest card of the bunch, clock for clock.
