Just ordered a new notebook and...

Thread Starter

It's an ASUS K53SV-A1 which I ordered on a $150 discount on amazon yesterday, and before I drop more cash on games, I'd like to know if you guys think that I could run these at the settings I plan to.

Core i5 clocked @ 2.3 GHz, 6 GB of RAM, and a Nvidia GT 540m.

AC: Brotherhood (High-Max)
Mafia 2 (Max)
CoD: Blops (crap port; just high enough for it to look pretty; maybe high-ish)
GTA4 (another crap port, but maybe near max without detail distance)
Recent Total War games (Max; Shogun maybe high-ish; also, to fans of the series - would the 15.6 inch screen make it harder to play effectively?
ArmA 2 - No idea. This is my biggest concern... Would I be able to manage high sets?

Thanks!

The 15.4" screen shouldn't affect performance. It isn't higher resolution than a 14" for example, and that's all that matters. Assuming the computer doesn't have issues with turbo boost and stuff, here's some benchmarks.
