2500k Cooling!

Thread Starter
Hi there! I currently have a 212+ that has been working awesome. Nowhere above 65C at 4.4ghz in prime95! The problem is, I am getting a new case (NZXT Phantom) that will not allow me to use the 212+ with a side fan. I can still return the 212+, but now my problem is finding a sufficient cooler that's not as huge as the 212+ is. The height of the 212+ is 158.5 mm, I am looking for something maybe 10 mm shorter?

Thank you for your help!

You either can go with the Corsair hydro series (H50,H60, and etc..) which give you access to using tall ram heatspreader as well. Or you can do top down heatsink like the Noctua C-14 or C12P. I just give you the links for the example you can get better price if you look around for deals.

Corsair XMS3 DDR3 2x4GB
Way to go! Get Silver Arrow or Noctua NH-D14. It will perfectly fit!
