make sure to test it out thoroughly no matter what he says. Also check the service tag on dell website to see the warranty expiration. This seems like a good deal if they are genuine. Maybe he stole them from where he works

It's called the "Factory Menu". So I had it backwards. It's the every other button, but not the first, third, and fifth, rather the second and forth. I just tested this on mine and it works.
