Who needs apps when you've got full flash capability? I mean, they've ported Angry Birds to Chrome Store.

They've ported Angry birds to webOS natively

Actually, it's only ~$60 without mass production pricing

Still, it's supposed to basically be the iPad screen. Hard to go wrong with that. About on par with the transformer/very slightly below the Tab 10.1.

I'm just waiting for a nice n64 emulator to be ported (before Android is, if it is). Zelda: Ocarina of Time Touchpad edition anyone?

So far so good with my 100 dollar tablet. I mean ips screen, 1gig of ram, and a 1.2 ghz dual core snapdragon... It has a lot of potential

Agreed. I had no plans to ever buy a tablet, but for $100, it definitely opened my wallet (especially with the amount of open source potential this thing has). It's kind of funny to see various tech news writers warning people about having a $100 brick a few months down the road when it is very functional now and has a great opportunity for a potential Android port or Ubuntu.

Impossible. I believe HP only manufactured 400K and there were already 25K sold before the fire sales. At best, we're looking at a 375K increase in user base.

By the way, for the time being, HP still hasn't discontinued the WebOS software side of things and with the instant user base, we might actually start seeing more 3rd party developers makin apps for WebOS. That's aside from the strong possibility that the TouchPad will run Android in the near future.

All I want app wise is SSH/telnet and an RDP client. Other than that, I don't think I would even need to go android (but will if and when its stable enough)

BB had 250K units. Although, you might be right about the total units. The 400K figure mentioned was how much HP was anticipating producing (selling?) monthly.
