Eyefinity vs a good 32" LED

Thread Starter
I will be running a radeon 6970+6990 and i am planning to do an eyefinity setup. Will it be better to get 1 good quality monitor vs 3x $200-300 priced monitors? Like for example, if I wanted to get the Dell Ultrasharp U3011 for that 1 very good quality monitor or any of the benq, acer or asus monitors x3. What should i do...for both gaming and entertainment.

If you don't like the bezels, then get the Ultrasharp U3011 or the HP 30". If you want a better field of vision, then the eyefinity setup would be better. Personally I'd like one gigantic monitor with an equally gigantic resolution. Personal preference though as your setup should be able to kill most games either way. Crysis 2 DX11 and the Witcher 2 might still be pretty hard on it.

if you will decide to go with eyefinity, get three of this
http://www.cnet.com.au/dell-ultrasha...-339304283.htm
way better then any TN screen from that price range + onboard dp connetor, so no need for an active dp to dvi converter.

What would you guys suggest would be the biggest screen size I should get? is 30" the biggest I can get as far as for gaming? I really don't know anything about monitors, sorry if my questions don't make sense :/

30" is the biggest. The Ultrasharp the HP Z-something-or-another.
There's also the the Dell Ultrasharp U2711 (I think) if you would like to stick to the 16:9 ratio; it's a 27" monitor though.
All of those are nice, but FREAKIN' EXPENSIVE.

This is probably also something else to take into consideration. I remember going from a 17" to 24" monitor. Though, it wasn't much of an adjustment so much as a OH MY GOSH THIS IS GLORIOUS. That could end up being your situation and you could really enjoy the 27" or 30" monitor so much you just skip the transition part and jump on the love train. *Cue Wolfmother music*
