Slow Folding or Wrong Flags

Thread Starter
Either the system slow at folding or I have the wrong flags.

http://euve25778.startvps.com/foldin...ng2/FAHlog.txt

Been about 2 days. The HFM web hasnt updated yet and I just installed it.

The flags I am using -smp -bigadv -verbosity 9 and I have advmethod set to yes in the config
post #2 of 30
Turn off advmethods, it isn't needed for bigadv. Also, are you sure CPU usage is pegged? What OS is this running on?

Do what Klue22 said, and if it's all maxed out, post up specs, please. At the very least it'll help everyone rule out a hardware issue.

Your memory appears to be a little low on usage though for folding bigadv, also how do you have 10GB? Are you sure its in dual/triple channel? Thirdly, are your temperatures in check? lm-sensors should be able to tell you CPU temps from the terminal.
