Virtu Lucid

Hi,

I am having a weird issue, for what i understant if I connect my monitors to my 5970+5870 setup, the virtu Lucid software is going to work in D-Mode. But
on the software you have to manually add the games so yes I already added all my games but when I open the game you are supposed to see an in game icon of virtu lucid, that way you know that it is running But I dont see any in game icon or anything.. Also I can barely play any game, almost all of my game are constantly crashing to desktop with neither a ATI Drivers stopped working error or blue screen of death with an error saying something about virtu lucid..

I am running 5970+5870 in eyefinity. I dont know if Virtu support 3x Crossfire and eyefinity...

Any help guys please

Guys it seems that the problem is the DP Apapter or the DP connection that the 5970 has

if I play the games on 1920x1080 everything works perfect but as soon as I turn on Eyefinity, crash to desktop with errors, DP link failure.... What a problem

About the icon - I'm pretty sure there are settings in the virtu software which allow you to set the icon to "Hide," which is why it may not be showing up.
But anyways, a google search returned this thread with info about the "DP Link Failure," maybe they have some answers?

I don't use Eyefinity myself, but I've heard of some device known as an 'Active Adapter' which supposedly is required, rather than a 'passive adapter.' I suppose you would want to check to see if your DP adapter is active or passive, and then perhaps that'll solve the problem?

I tried virtu, but then I realized that since my mobo doesn't have an onboard display output, I don't think there's any way for me to use i-mode. I can only use d-mode, since I *must* plug my display into the graphics card.

Before I realized that, I did add a few applications to the list (not that it did anything). When I tried to add Starcraft II though, it would pop up error windows whenever I tried to change something in Virtu.

And this was the second time I tried using it - the first time I installed it, it wouldn't even run. My overall opinion is that it seems to be rather buggy
