Fixing Old Trinitron - Help

Thread Starter
I want to know if there's a way to remove an image that's burnt into the screen of my old Dell Trinitron CRT. The original burning of the image was from my brother and I using it when we were kids and never using a screen saver, so the image is probably 10+ years old.

Any ideas that I should try? I'd love to revive this beast.

Imo,there is not really can be done without replacing the tube itself. That would cost the same as a new lcd screen.

The tube is essentially the one part in a CRT that is not really practically replaceable from what I know.

One possibility I would try is flashing white-black-white full screen repeatedly at high frequency for a while. I dk if it would work, but it helps with plasma burnin .
