Kratos and Snake can only be as cool as the game allows them to be. Alex Mercer is the same way.
However, you have choices with Shepard. Each class, background, etc has different outcomes. Even one conversation you think is unimportant can change how the game progresses. This makes you a much more powerful force in the universe than most other simple action games.
tl;dr: Action RPG characters > Action characters.
That is very very true! Which is one reason why I really liked the 1st fable game! The next two were boring, repetitive, and way overrated. Some of the ideas for them are cool, everything else greatly lacked.
But, I do very much agree with this. Makes it so you have to play it multiple times to see what you can do. Dragon Age does the same things too. It's a BioWare thing. But it just doesn't quite get my tractor running, if ya know what I mean!
Only for the actual badass feeling portion. But, yes, i do like how the choices you make change everything.Edited by gnarlybug5 - 8/21/11 at 1:32am
